This role is a strategic, relationship-driven position focused on managing and expanding high-value partnerships with health plan clients. The Account Executive, Customer Success serves as a trusted advisor to payer organizations, ensuring alignment between client objectives and service delivery while driving long-term retention and growth. You will operate at a senior level within complex healthcare ecosystems, engaging with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders to support performance and value realization. The role requires a strong understanding of payer dynamics and the ability to translate client needs into actionable partnership strategies. It is highly collaborative, blending account management, strategic consulting, and business development within a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will play a key role in shaping growth opportunities and deepening enterprise-level relationships.
- Accountabilities: Serve as the primary strategic partner for health plan clients, ensuring long-term retention, satisfaction, and expansion of key accounts. Develop and execute account strategies aligned with payer goals, performance metrics, and broader partnership objectives. Lead regular business reviews and strategic discussions with health plan stakeholders, focusing on performance outcomes and value creation. Identify and drive opportunities for revenue growth, service expansion, and deeper partnership engagement across assigned accounts. Collaborate closely with internal clinical, product, and operational teams to ensure seamless delivery and alignment with client expectations. Navigate complex payer environments, including contracting considerations, operational challenges, and multi-stakeholder decision-making processes. Requirements: Proven experience working with or within health plans, with strong preference for payer-side or payer-facing roles. Strong understanding of health plan operations, decision-making structures, and payer partnership dynamics. Background in account management, strategic partnerships, or business development within healthcare or insurance ecosystems. Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across clinical, operational, and executive levels. Demonstrated success in driving account growth, retention, and long-term client value. Strong strategic thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills in complex, matrixed environments. Experience with national or regional health plans, payer vendors, or enterprise payer accounts is highly desirable.
