Job Description
- This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI Engineer / Anthropic Architect (Forward Deployed Engineer) based in Canada. This is a high-impact, customer-facing AI engineering role operating at the frontier of applied generative AI and enterprise solution delivery. You will work directly with strategic customers to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems powered by Claude and other frontier models. The role blends AI engineering, solution architecture, and forward-deployed consulting in fast-moving enterprise environments. You will translate complex business problems into scalable agentic systems, workflows, and LLM-powered architectures. A key part of your work involves rapid prototyping, building POCs, and delivering measurable business impact from early discovery through production. You will act as a trusted technical advisor across engineering, product, and executive stakeholders. This is a highly autonomous role where you operate at the intersection of innovation, delivery, and enterprise AI transformation.
- Accountabilities: Embed directly with enterprise customers to design, build, and deploy production AI applications powered by Claude and other LLM systems. Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable AI solutions, including agentic workflows, RAG systems, MCP servers, and multi-agent frameworks. Deliver rapid prototypes, demos, and proof-of-concept solutions that demonstrate clear business value and technical feasibility. Act as the primary technical point of contact across customer engagements, coordinating with internal delivery, sales, and partner teams. Design enterprise-grade AI architectures and integration patterns across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise data ecosystems. Conduct technical discovery workshops to define customer requirements, assess AI readiness, and translate needs into architecture roadmaps. Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security reviews with clear and compelling technical documentation. Provide guidance on LLM evaluation, prompt engineering, observability, and production deployment best practices. Identify technical risks early and ensure scalable, reliable delivery of AI solutions in production environments. Act as an internal subject matter expert on Claude and generative AI systems, sharing knowledge and building reusable accelerators and assets. Collaborate with Account Executives to shape technical strategy and support pre-sales and solution design activities. Contribute feedback to product and partner teams based on real-world enterprise deployments. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, technical consulting, or customer-facing AI roles. 2+ years of hands-on experience building production LLM applications using Claude, GPT-4, or similar enterprise-grade models. Strong Python programming skills, with additional experience in TypeScript, Java, or similar languages being a plus. Experience designing and deploying agentic systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, or DSPy. Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and enterprise integration patterns. Experience with prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, LLM observability, and scalable AI deployment. Proven ability to lead technical discovery sessions and translate business requirements into architecture decisions. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to both technical and executive audiences. High autonomy, strong ownership mindset, and comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving customer environments. Bonus: experience with vector databases, RAG pipelines, MCP servers, Claude ecosystem tools, or enterprise AI certifications. Benefits: Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives and equity-aligned rewards. Fully remote-friendly work environment within Canada. Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI projects across global enterprise customers. Access to continuous learning, certifications, and multiple advanced technology practices. High-impact role at the forefront of generative AI adoption and enterprise transformation. Collaborative, people-first culture with strong focus on innovation and knowledge sharing. Exposure to frontier AI systems, including Claude and other leading LLM platforms. Strong autonomy with meaningful ownership over customer-facing technical outcomes.
