- Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) is looking for a results-driven Brand Specialist to join the Mexico Retail Hardlines team, focused on the Toys category. In this role, you will own the day-to-day relationship with some of Amazon Mexico's most strategic toy vendors, driving profitable growth and operational excellence. You will gain full exposure to retail e-commerce — from supply chain and selection to profitability and marketing — while coordinating cross-functionally to deliver results . This is an opportunity to manage high-profile brands in one of Amazon Mexico's largest and most dynamic categories. Key job responsibilities Vendor Relationship & Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic Toys vendors in Mexico Build trusted, long-term vendor relationships to position Amazon as the retailer of choice Conduct regular business reviews with vendors, presenting performance data, growth opportunities, and joint action plans Manage vendor escalations and coordinate internal teams to resolve issues Business Growth & Strategy Drive revenue growth by identifying selection gaps, launching new products, and expanding vendor catalogs Develop and execute vendor-specific growth plans aligned with category goals. Support vendor onboarding for new brands into the MX Toys portfolio (new vendor recruitment and activation) Leverage Direct Import opportunities from China/US to improve cost structure and margin Availability & Operational Excellence Own and improve instock metrics Profitability Management Manage Net PPM for assigned vendors Optimize agreements and negotiate improvements Balance growth investments (deals, promotions) with sustainable margin targets Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities Selection & Content Ensure vendors maintain high-quality catalog content Drive growth by activating dormant selection Deals, Promotions & Events Plan and execute deal strategies for key events Manage negotiations with vendors for promotional events Analyze deal performance and optimize ROI for future events About the team Inclusive team culture At Amazon we embrace our differences and we are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. Basic Qualifications
- - 1+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience - Bachelor's degree - Experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML - Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
