In this role, you will work closely with agile development teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring quality from requirements refinement to production releases. You will design, execute, and automate web and mobile tests while helping prevent defects before they reach users. • Accountabilities: Analyze business requirements, user stories, and interface designs during refinement sessions to identify potential issues before development begins. Design, execute, and maintain functional, exploratory, regression, usability, and automated test scenarios for web and mobile applications. Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Maintain and expand automated testing frameworks using tools such as Cypress, Maestro, or similar technologies. Leverage AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency while validating results with critical analysis. Validate application behavior through SQL and NoSQL database queries, ensuring data integrity and functional accuracy. Estimate testing efforts, prioritize tasks, contribute to agile ceremonies, and maintain clear technical documentation. Promote collaboration, quality best practices, and continuous improvements across the development lifecycle. Requirements Degree in progress or completed in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Previous experience with software quality assurance in agile development environments. Hands-on experience executing functional, exploratory, regression, and automated tests for web and mobile applications. Knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and quality assurance best practices. Experience with automation frameworks such as Cypress, Maestro, or similar tools. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases for test validation and data analysis. Experience using tools such as Jira, GitHub, and Visual Studio Code. Practical experience incorporating AI tools into software testing workflows. Technical English reading skills. Experience with API testing (Postman), performance testing (JMeter, k6), certifications in QA, or postgraduate studies are considered a plus.
