  • This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Director, Marketing based in Brazil. This is a strategic marketing leadership role focused on maximizing the performance of an oncology portfolio in the Brazilian market. You will shape brand strategy, translate market insights into impactful commercial initiatives, and support the successful launch of new assets. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution across omnichannel marketing, customer engagement, and promotional activities. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Medical, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Business Analytics, Supply, and regional teams. The position also offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders, external partners, healthcare professionals, and key opinion leaders. Success will require strong commercial judgment, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to turn customer and market insights into measurable business outcomes. Based in São Paulo under a hybrid model, the role includes team leadership and up to 30% travel.
  • Accountabilities: Develop and implement the commercial and brand strategy for assigned products and portfolios across hematology, oncology, and solid tumor markets. Build brand vision, positioning, awareness, and strategic direction, including supporting the launch of new products and assets. Develop and execute local marketing strategies and tactical plans aligned with regional and global brand strategies. Lead omnichannel marketing planning and execution, working with brand managers and cross-functional teams to deliver effective customer engagement. Identify and manage external agencies, vendors, technologies, and tools that can strengthen commercial execution. Develop customer-centric promotional materials, messaging, and resources for field teams and broader commercial use. Build relationships with key influencers, opinion leaders, medical societies, and other relevant stakeholders while incorporating market insights into strategic decisions. Partner with Sales, Medical, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Business Analytics, and other functions to identify commercial opportunities and measure the impact of marketing initiatives. Organize training sessions and regular updates for customer-facing teams to ensure effective execution of brand strategies. Own and manage the marketing budget, including planning, execution, monitoring, contracts, invoicing, reconciliation, and project follow-up. Monitor brand performance, budgets, KPIs, market developments, competitor activity, and commercial targets, communicating relevant changes to leadership. Partner with Supply teams to support product availability, reduce back orders, and improve forecasting accuracy. Support local participation in national and international congresses, scientific meetings, symposia, and workshops. Lead and develop direct reports, including sales team members and junior product management talent. Ensure all commercial and marketing activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, ethical standards, and internal policies, keeping patient needs at the center of decision-making. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Biological Sciences, Medical Sciences, or a related discipline. 8+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Strong experience in marketing, brand management, commercial strategy, or product management, ideally within hematology, oncology, or solid tumor markets. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, tactical plans, product launches, and omnichannel campaigns. Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer insights, stakeholder engagement, and commercial performance management. Experience managing marketing budgets, external agencies, vendors, and complex commercial projects. Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Medical, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Analytics, Supply, and regional/global teams. Experience leading or supervising teams, with strong coaching, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Fluent English is required; advanced Spanish is an advantage. Strong analytical thinking and ability to use market insights and KPIs to support business decisions. Excellent communication, organization, prioritization, and project-management capabilities. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and other common business productivity tools. Willingness to travel up to 30% as required. Benefits: Hybrid work model based in São Paulo.
