- Accountabilities: Support global software license compliance by monitoring software usage, tracking entitlements, and identifying licensing variances across systems and tools. Administer Software Asset Management (SAM) tools and maintain accurate licensing databases, including uploading contracts, entitlements, and usage data. Review and assess software requests from business users, ensuring alignment with company standards and licensing availability. Challenge and validate business justifications for software needs, proposing optimized or cost-effective licensing alternatives. Partner with IT and business teams globally to monitor software installations, subscriptions, and compliance status. Support software audits, clean-up activities, and remediation of non-compliant usage or installations. Contribute to compliance reporting, dashboards, and analytics shared with stakeholders worldwide. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SAM processes, efficiency, and cost optimization. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred but not required). No prior professional experience required; internships or academic exposure is an advantage. Basic understanding of software licensing concepts and IT asset management principles. Strong attention to detail with the ability to track, validate, and manage structured data accurately. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to tasks. Ability to interpret guidelines, follow processes, and request clarification when needed. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Good organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Basic proficiency in computer systems and office applications; ability to quickly learn new tools and platforms. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in multicultural, global teams. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance and ethical standards.
