Job Description
The Business Development Analyst is a vital role that contributes to LSEG’s ambition to be a strategic enabler of sustainable growth. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who wants to support the product team in the content expansion strategy and new product development for the region. Main activities on the role include research on industry trends and regulations; create presentation and marketing materials translating our global efforts in a localized campaign; connect with key market stakeholders and support their data provision LSEG technology; manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project results; follow up with support and content teams and provide regular project updates to management.
What You'll Be Doing:
Support in education and learning activities as well as promotion initiatives through presentations, webinars, or events.
Identify, establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across sales, marketing and operations to support growth and collaborative success outcomes.
Proactively identify new companies to increase initial target lists.
Effectively leverage and use sales engagement tools, system and processes.
What You'll Bring:
Ability to provide clients with the best customer experience as possible.
Telephone and remote contact skills that clearly articulate a 'business justification', 'what's in it for the client', obtain 'incremental gain' in order to qualify potential business opportunities.
Able to articulate the benefits of LSEG products and services to potential clients in a concise and pointed manner that fosters greater product curiosity.
Experience working in a professional, institutional, preferably within financial services or information technology industries.
Knowledge & Skills:
Junior professional or graduate in finance, capital markets and/or economics.
Position for a developing professional building experience in their specialist function.
English & Arabic language capability.
Highly effective communication, presentation and research skills. Uses appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods necessary to gain acceptance of a product, service, or idea from prospects and clients.
Ability to work within a cross-functional organization.
Identify and suggest process improvement following research on market best practices, client and stakeholder’ feedback.
Scope of Impact:
This is an individual contributor role.
May lead and be accountable for straight-forward projects and associated teams.
May Provides input to the objectives and goals of the department.
Responsible for managing own time and responsibilities.
