  • We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our EU Creators team, supporting the growth of the Amazon Influencer Program (AIP) in Europe focused on Sports and Fitness. The candidate will be responsible of establishing strategic partnerships with Influencers across Europe, to grow the Amazon Influencer Program footprint in the Creators industry. The primary objective is to drive scaled recruitment and engagement of Creators in our program by amplifying its visibility and awareness. The aim is to establish our Program as a pivotal point of reference within the Creator economy across Europe. The ideal candidate is a business development manager with experience in performance marketing and interest in Social media landscape, who is customer obsessed, data-driven, highly organized, detail-oriented, and excited to work in a fast-paced environment, with experience using AI to optimize processes, while also expertise in working with external agencies and influencers as well and multi-cross functional partner teams. This candidate is comfortable working independently, excellent at communicating with leadership and key stakeholders, and collaborates well with cross-functional partners across Creators teams, PR, Tech, etc. This role requires working at the strategic level to identify growth opportunities for Europe, and consistently delivering at the tactical level by executing and optimizing partnerships, payments, analyzing traffic and partner engagement data, and delivering program growth. The location for this role is London. Key job responsibilities * Identify and engage with key influencer networks, agencies, and platforms across Europe to drive scaled recruitment and engagement of Creators in the Amazon Influencer Program. * Drive scaled recruitment and engagement of Creators in our program, increasing its visibility and awareness in the Creator industry through third-party partnerships. * Utilize data-driven analytical approaches to prioritize opportunities, assess business impact, and regularly report progress and outcomes to senior stakeholders, including key performance metrics such as sign-ups and revenue per active creator * Define and implement incentive plans and commission structures for partners, ensuring growth is achieved within established financial investment framework * Lead cross-functional projects aimed at advancing best practice sharing, process refinement, and generating innovative ideas for marketing strategies in collaboration with Amazon internal teams (e.g., Creators teams, PR, tech, etc.). * Collaborate closely with Amazon internal teams to provide support for strategic Amazon businesses and growth initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
  • - Experience analyzing metrics to drive business improvements - 3–5 years in business development, partnerships, influencer marketing, or creator economy roles - Demonstrated experience managing influencer or creator relationships, ideally in the fitness, wellness, or sports category - Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue, growth, or partnership targets - Experience with social media and working directly with influencers and/or agencies - Experience with affiliate marketing, performance-based partnerships, or commission-based models - Strong relationship management — ability to recruit, onboard, and retain creators - Excellent written and verbal communication — can pitch the program, brief creators, and present to stakeholders - Pipeline management — ability to build and maintain a recruitment funnel with consistent outreach volume and conversion tracking - Negotiation skills — comfortable discussing compensation, deliverables, and performance expectations with creators - Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for performance tracking and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
  • - Experience leading across multiple locales - Experience building client and agency relationships - Experience working with fitness influencers specifically (gym, yoga, running, CrossFit, wellness) - Knowledge of Amazon's affiliate or influencer ecosystem - Experience with paid social boosting or amplification of creator content - Fluent in German - Understanding of the fitness/wellness creator landscape — key platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok), content formats, audience demographics - Familiarity with fitness sub-categories: activewear, supplements, equipment, wearables, recovery, nutrition - Awareness of seasonal trends in fitness (New Year, summer, back-to-school) and how they map to commerce opportunities - Familiarity with social media analytics and creator performance metrics (engagement rate, audience demographics, content quality) Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
