Lead and coordinate with team leads to ensure consistent application of processes, procedures, and coding standards across all dispute handling activities. Review existing workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement, simplification, and enhanced operational efficiency. Monitor team adherence to policies and procedures while providing coaching, guidance, and accountability to maintain quality and compliance standards. Analyze dispute trends and operational data to identify root causes, recurring issues, and opportunities for systemic improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts to support continuous improvement initiatives and refine coding dispute processes. Requirements: Minimum of 6 years of medical coding experience with strong knowledge of outpatient professional coding and claim adjudication processes. At least 2 years of leadership experience in a supervisory, team lead, or subject matter expert capacity, ideally within coding or claims environments. Strong understanding of code editing processes and denial management workflows, with preferred CPC certification (AAPC). Demonstrated ability to lead remote or distributed teams and ensure consistent operational execution across workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and drive process improvements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate providers and collaborate with internal stakeholders. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing priorities, deadlines, and operational goals effectively. Benefits: Annual salary range of $71,100 – $97,800, based on experience and qualifications. Eligibility for performance-based bonus incentives. Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage. Retirement savings plan (401(k)) with employer contributions. Generous paid time off, including holidays, vacation, personal days, parental leave, caregiver leave, and volunteer time off. Fully remote work model with potential travel for training or meetings as needed. Professional development opportunities and ongoing training support.
