This contract role offers the opportunity to join a mission-driven digital marketing environment where SEO is treated as a core driver of truth, impact, and long-term growth. The position focuses on leveraging data, analytics, and content strategy to improve organic visibility and deliver meaningful outcomes for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work in a highly collaborative, remote-first setting where experimentation, transparency, and continuous learning are central to how teams operate. The role blends technical SEO, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution across audits, optimization, and performance analysis. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving consultancy environment and enjoys turning complex data into actionable insights. You will contribute to projects that not only improve search performance but also align with broader goals of integrity, inclusion, and measurable impact. This is a fully remote opportunity with flexibility across the continental US.
  • Accountabilities: Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and identify technical, on-page, and off-page optimization opportunities across client websites. Develop and execute SEO strategies aligned with organic growth goals, including keyword research, content planning, and competitive analysis. Analyze performance data using analytics and SEO tools to identify trends, insights, and optimization opportunities. Collaborate with content, analytics, and development teams to implement SEO recommendations effectively. Monitor search engine algorithm updates and adjust strategies to maintain and improve rankings and visibility. Provide clear reporting and insights to stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable recommendations. Support ongoing experimentation and testing initiatives to improve SEO performance and user experience. Requirements: Proven experience in SEO, digital marketing, or organic growth roles, preferably in an agency or consultancy environment. Strong understanding of technical SEO, including site structure, crawlability, indexing, and performance optimization. Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms. Ability to conduct keyword research, content gap analysis, and competitive benchmarking. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. High attention to detail and strong problem-solving mindset. Benefits: Fully remote contractor opportunity within the continental United States. Flexible work environment with autonomy over execution and scheduling. Opportunity to work on diverse client projects across multiple industries. Exposure to advanced SEO strategies, analytics tools, and data-driven marketing practices. Collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on learning, truth, and continuous improvement. Inclusive and values-driven environment aligned with equity and accessibility principles. Opportunity to contribute to high-impact marketing initiatives that influence real business outcomes.
