CT Applications Specialist – HeartFlow EMEA

Location: United Kingdom, field-based with national travel

Function: Clinical Applications / Customer Success

Reports to: EMEA Leader

Role Overview

The CT Applications Specialist is responsible for enabling the safe, effective, and consistent adoption of HeartFlow solutions across hospitals in EMEA. The role combines advanced cardiac CT expertise with structured education for radiologists, radiographers, and cardiologists. The specialist supports customers from implementation through long-term optimization, working closely with commercial, marketing, and medical teams to build clinical confidence and drive sustainable utilization.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Education and Training

Deliver structured training programs for radiologists, radiographers, and cardiologists covering patient preparation, acquisition, reconstruction, and image quality requirements.  Develop competency-based education pathways for radiographers to support consistent CCTA quality.  Provide one-to-one coaching, classroom-based sessions, and virtual learning modules.  Assess learning outcomes and document customer proficiency and adoption.  Radiology and Radiographer Engagement Act as the primary clinical liaison for radiology departments and CT modality leads.  Support protocol optimization across major scanner platforms.  Facilitate peer-to-peer exchange and best-practice forums for radiographers across the UK and EMEA.  Contribute to the development of education standards in cardiac CT.

Clinical Support

Provide on-site and remote applications support for HeartFlow analyses.  Troubleshoot image quality issues and workflow barriers.  Participate in clinical discussions related to results interpretation and appropriate use.  Capture product feedback and escalate technical issues as needed.  Collaboration with Commercial and Marketing Teams Partner with Marketing to design education programs, workshops, and user meetings in the UK and across EMEA.  Support the creation of educational materials, case libraries, and digital content.  Participate in congresses, roadshows, and customer events as clinical faculty.  Align with commercial teams to support implementation and value realization.  Program Optimization Evaluate customer CT pathways and recommend process improvements. Maintain training records and customer engagement logs in company systems.  Mentor new applications specialists and share best practices across the team.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Radiographer or equivalent UK clinical qualification.  
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cardiac CT imaging.  
  • Expert knowledge of CCTA acquisition and reconstruction.
  • Strong presentation and teaching skills, including confidence presenting to large audiences.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Highly organized, self-starting, and execution-oriented.
  • Hands-on approach with strong operational focus.
  • Ability to travel up to 70–80% across the EMEA region.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading radiographer education programs.  Familiarity with HeartFlow technology and/or CT-FFR concepts.  Experience across multiple CT vendor platforms. Involvement in professional societies, faculty roles, or teaching activities.
