• This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Science AI/ML Lead based in India. This role sits at the forefront of applied artificial intelligence, driving the design and deployment of enterprise-grade AI/ML systems that power real-world business transformation. You will lead the end-to-end architecture of scalable machine learning solutions, including LLM-powered applications, AI agents, and intelligent automation workflows. The position combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic ownership of AI infrastructure, MLOps, and production deployment at scale. You will work across cloud-native environments to build robust data pipelines, APIs, and model-serving systems that integrate seamlessly into enterprise platforms. A key part of the role involves mentoring engineering teams and shaping best practices in AI engineering and machine learning operations. This is a high-impact leadership position for someone passionate about building production-ready AI systems in fast-paced, enterprise environments.
• Accountabilities: Lead the design, architecture, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions. Build and implement AI agents, LLM-based systems, and intelligent automation workflows. Define and drive MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, and deployment standards. Design scalable AWS-based data pipelines and analytics architectures using modern cloud services. Develop production-grade APIs and machine learning model serving infrastructure. Integrate AI/ML systems with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, and other business systems. Mentor and guide engineering teams, providing technical leadership and architectural direction. Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of deployed machine learning systems in production environments. Requirements: Extensive experience in data science, machine learning engineering, or AI architecture roles. Strong programming expertise in Python with deep knowledge of production-grade development practices. Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn. Experience building AI agents, working with LLMs, and integrating intelligent automation systems. Strong knowledge of AWS services including Glue, Lambda, Athena, S3, Step Functions, SNS, SES, and IAM. Experience with MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized deployments. Proven ability to design and deploy RESTful APIs and production ML systems at scale. Experience integrating machine learning solutions into enterprise environments and business systems. Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills with the ability to guide technical teams. Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven or enterprise AI environments is preferred.
