  • This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Global Security Standards and Compliance in the United States. This role sits at the center of enterprise-wide physical security strategy for a large, multi-venue live entertainment organization. You will define and govern global security standards that ensure consistency, compliance, and operational excellence across high-density venues and major events. Acting as a key advisor to senior leadership, you will translate strategic security priorities into actionable policies, frameworks, and measurable programs. The role combines regulatory oversight, risk mitigation, and operational execution across a fast-paced, event-driven environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, legal, risk, and venue leadership to strengthen incident prevention and response. This is a highly visible position with direct impact on safety, business continuity, and guest experience across a global footprint.
  • Accountabilities This role is responsible for building and maintaining a unified global physical security framework that ensures consistency, compliance, and operational readiness across all venues and events. You will establish governance structures, standards, and tools that support scalable and effective security operations. • Design and implement enterprise-wide physical security policies, standards, playbooks, and compliance frameworks across all venues and events • Translate executive security strategy into operational guidance for venue teams and event operations • Define minimum security requirements across access control, surveillance, screening, credentialing, crowd management, and emergency preparedness • Lead compliance monitoring, audits, corrective action plans, and governance reporting across multiple sites • Serve as a key advisor to operations, legal, HR, risk, and insurance teams on security risk and mitigation strategies • Oversee incident response coordination, investigations, escalation processes, and post-incident reviews • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to measure security performance and continuous improvement • Evaluate and recommend security technologies, vendors, and solutions to enhance enterprise capabilities • Deliver training programs and awareness initiatives to strengthen security culture across the organization Requirements This position requires deep experience in enterprise security leadership, particularly within complex, high-traffic, multi-site environments such as venues, events, hospitality, or entertainment operations. You will bring a strong ability to balance strategic governance with hands-on operational oversight. • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Homeland Security, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred) • 5–7+ years of progressive experience in security leadership, ideally across multi-site or event-driven environments • Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise security policies, compliance programs, and operational standards • Strong understanding of physical security systems, incident management, emergency response, and risk mitigation frameworks • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders including legal, operations, HR, and risk management teams • Ability to lead investigations, manage escalations, and support incident command or emergency response structures • Strong analytical, communication, and executive-level presentation skills • Experience with vendor management, security technologies (CCTV, access control), and security analytics tools • Certifications such as CPP or PSP are strongly preferred Benefits • Annual salary range: $125,000–$140,000 • Performance-based bonus eligibility • Health, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) savings plan with company match • Paid time off, including vacation, sick days, and holidays • Exposure to large-scale, high-profile live events and venues • Opportunities for professional growth in enterprise security leadership • Dynamic, fast-paced environment with cross-functional collaboration
