Job Description
- This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Enterprise Development Representative in the United States. This role is a high-impact, pipeline-generating position focused on engaging nonprofit organizations and uncovering their fundraising and operational challenges. You will be responsible for initiating meaningful conversations with prospective customers, identifying areas of need, and qualifying opportunities for deeper engagement with senior sales teams. Working in a mission-driven environment, you will help organizations better understand how technology can improve donor engagement, fundraising efficiency, and overall impact. The position emphasizes thoughtful, consultative outreach rather than transactional selling, using a structured and relationship-focused sales methodology. You will own a defined territory and build a consistent pipeline through disciplined outreach and strategic prospecting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow in a sales career while contributing to meaningful social impact.
- Accountabilities: Conduct proactive outbound prospecting to nonprofit organizations through phone, email, and digital channels to initiate new business conversations. Identify and uncover key fundraising, donor engagement, event management, and technology-related challenges within target organizations. Qualify and disqualify opportunities by assessing business need, urgency, and readiness for change. Schedule high-quality meetings for Account Executives to advance qualified opportunities through the sales cycle. Own and manage a designated territory or vertical, building a sustainable and predictable pipeline. Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, prospect interactions, and pipeline progress within CRM systems such as Salesforce. Apply a consultative, question-driven approach to understand customer needs and build trust with nonprofit stakeholders. Collaborate with sales teams to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment on opportunity context and strategy. Requirements: 1–3+ years of experience in sales development, business development, customer-facing roles, or related fields (SaaS or nonprofit experience is a plus). Strong comfort with cold outreach and initiating conversations with new prospects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead structured, consultative discussions. Curiosity and problem-solving mindset with the ability to uncover underlying business challenges. Resilience, persistence, and consistency in a high-volume outbound sales environment. Coachability and willingness to learn structured sales methodologies (e.g., Sandler-style approaches). Goal-oriented mindset with motivation to exceed performance targets and KPIs. Strong organizational skills and discipline in managing CRM data and daily sales activities. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team-oriented sales culture. Benefits: Base salary of approximately $65,000 with additional $20,000 variable commission (estimated $85,000 OTE). Performance-based compensation structure with opportunity for earnings growth. Comprehensive benefits package supporting health, wellness, and financial security. Career development opportunities with a clear path toward closing and enterprise sales roles. Mission-driven work environment focused on creating measurable social impact. Exposure to structured sales methodologies and professional sales training. Inclusive workplace culture emphasizing collaboration, belonging, and purpose. Opportunity to contribute directly to revenue growth and organizational impact.
