Job Summary
We are searching for a remote Executive Assistant to support legal teams with document preparation, case management, and research. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in legal support who are looking for long-term remote opportunities in international law firms.
Role Type: Full-time
Engagement: Independent Contractor
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting basic legal documents such as contracts, letters, and templates under supervision
- Conduct preliminary legal research and gather relevant case law or regulatory information
- Organize and maintain digital case files and document repositories
- Support senior paralegals and attorneys with administrative and legal tasks
- Review documents for formatting, completeness, and accuracy
- Assist with contract tracking and version control
- Prepare summaries, reports, and briefing notes for internal use
- Handle data entry and maintain records in legal systems or spreadsheets
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and internal communications
- Support compliance checks and documentation requirements
- Learn and apply legal procedures and workflows across different matters
- 1+ year experience in legal support, internships, or administrative roles
- Degree (or ongoing studies) in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Basic understanding of legal terminology and documentation
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in a legal career path
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude, coachability, and adaptability in a remote environment
