A day in the life:

You'll own a portfolio of 4–6 fashion and apparel accounts. You will serve as the primary strategic partner for your clients on a day-to-day basis, owning the narrative around performance, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring all marketing efforts ladder up to business objectives. A successful candidate is a strong cross-channel marketer and communicator who can confidently translate data into insights, guide internal teams, and build trust with clients. This is a critical role in ensuring accounts are not only running efficiently, but driving meaningful business impact.

As an Associate Account Director (AAD), you will act as the day-to-day strategic lead for Fashion clients, ensuring marketing efforts are aligned to revenue growth driven by creative performance, customer acquisition efficiency, and retention—not just channel outputs. You will work closely with client teams across marketing, merchandising, and creative, helping balance creative velocity, paid media performance, and seasonal campaign planning. This role requires comfort discussing audience strategy, creative testing, influencer programs, and lifecycle performance. You’ll partner with Project Managers to ensure execution stays on track, while collaborating with the Account Director to refine quarterly strategy and long-term growth plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
  • Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department
  • Lead weekly client calls on larger accounts; support PM-led calls on smaller accounts — own the performance narrative either way
  • Translate Power Circuit roadmap outputs into weekly account priorities; flag when creative production or execution cadence is outrunning strategic direction
  • Track creative performance, audience fatigue, and cohort behavior; surface insights before they become client concerns
  • Coordinate paid social, influencer, creative, SEO, and lifecycle teams around a unified account strategy — in fashion these channels depend on each other more than in most other verticals
  • Support retention strategy: repeat purchase rate, LTV by acquisition cohort, and loyalty mechanics
  • Keep pace with the seasonal calendar; flag when campaign timing or creative velocity is creating execution risk
  • Support the AD on quarterly strategy, renewal prep, and service expansion conversations
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; contribute to ≥90% retention across your accounts
  • Work in Iris and nova daily; use performance data to surface issues before clients raise them; maintain Pulse cadence at 100%

Role Requirements:

  • 4–7 years in fashion, apparel, or DTC marketing, with experience managing client relationships day-to-day
  • Understands how creative strategy and media strategy interact — has a working point of view on which constrains the other in different scenarios
  • Familiar with the influencer and UGC ecosystem: knows how campaigns are briefed, evaluated, and scaled
  • Comfortable with DTC economics: CAC, LTV, repeat rate, and what cohort behavior tells you about acquisition quality
  • Understands Meta-heavy media mixes and the measurement challenges that come with them — creative fatigue, audience saturation, incrementality
  • Has worked in seasonal marketing environments and knows how to stay strategic when execution volume is highest
  • Strong written and verbal communication; can translate performance data into a clear client narrative under time pressure

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Expansion to Churn Ratio (ETCR)
  • Net MRR across portfolio
  • Client NPS (8+ avg)
  • Monthly Service Expansion pipeline generation
  • Power Circuit Certification (annual)

Most Important Things (MITs)

  • Team Coaching and Development
  • Marketing Strategy, Development and Execution
  • Client Retention and Client Revenue Growth
