Job Description
  • This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Federal Account Executive - Civilian Sector in the United States. This is a high-impact, hunter-focused sales role responsible for driving new business and expanding strategic relationships across U.S. Federal Civilian agencies. The Federal Account Executive will own a defined territory and lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline generation to closing complex, high-value cybersecurity deals. Operating at the intersection of national security priorities and mobile-first digital transformation, this role requires strong expertise in enterprise software sales within the public sector. You will collaborate closely with internal teams such as solution engineering, marketing, and business development to develop tailored engagement strategies and deliver mission-aligned solutions. The role demands deep understanding of federal procurement processes, stakeholder engagement at senior levels, and disciplined pipeline management. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who thrives in competitive environments and is motivated by impact, growth, and uncapped performance potential.
  • Accountabilities: Own and manage the full sales cycle for assigned Federal Civilian accounts, including prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, negotiation, and closing new business opportunities. Drive net-new logo acquisition through a proactive hunter approach, leveraging outreach, events, partner networks, and account-based strategies. Develop and execute a structured territory plan with clear pipeline goals, account prioritization, and revenue targets aligned with go-to-market strategy. Build and expand relationships with federal stakeholders, translating mission requirements and security challenges into compelling solution value propositions. Conduct executive-level presentations, product demonstrations, and business reviews to influence decision-making and accelerate deal progression. Collaborate with BDRs, solution engineers, marketing, and channel partners to generate pipeline, refine messaging, and support deal execution. Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM and revenue intelligence tools, applying structured qualification methodologies such as MEDDPICC. Represent the organization at federal events and industry forums while providing market intelligence and competitive insights to internal teams. Requirements: 7+ years of enterprise software or technology sales experience within the public sector, with a proven track record of quota achievement and overperformance. At least 3+ years of experience selling cybersecurity solutions, preferably in mobile security, endpoint security, or zero-trust environments. Strong familiarity with Federal Civilian agencies, procurement processes, and contract vehicles (e.g., GSA, SEWP, BPA, OTA, GWACs). Demonstrated success operating as a hunter, with experience building pipeline through cold outreach, networking, and partner engagement. Strong command of MEDDPICC (or similar qualification frameworks such as MEDDIC or Challenger) for managing complex enterprise deals. Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce and revenue intelligence platforms like Clari for forecasting and pipeline management. Exceptional communication and executive presence with the ability to engage senior government and enterprise stakeholders. Strong analytical, consultative, and relationship-building skills with a focus on long-term customer value. Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% as required. Benefits: Uncapped commission structure with competitive base salary and strong earnings potential based on performance. Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance. Retirement savings plan and financial wellness support. Flexible paid time off and holiday policies. Opportunity to work on mission-critical cybersecurity solutions supporting U.S. Federal agencies. Strong sales enablement environment with modern tools, methodologies, and partner ecosystems. Exposure to cutting-edge mobile security and AI-driven cybersecurity technologies. Collaborative, inclusive culture that values performance, innovation, and impact.
