Welo Global | Enterprise Localization, AI & Multilingual Solutions Platform OVERVIEW At Park IP, Welo Global’s Legal Service Line, we are currently seeking experienced patent translators to support our growing portfolio of patent translation projects. We are looking for linguists with proven experience translating patents from English US (en-US) into the following target languages: Czech (cs-CZ) Estonian (et-EE) Romanian (ro-RO) Serbian Cyrillic (sr-Cyrl-RS) Slovenian (sl-SI) The ideal candidate will have strong experience in translating and proofreading patents, specifically in the field of Biology. Project Details Job Title: English US into cs-CZ, et-EE, ro-RO, sr-Cyrl-SP and sl-SI Patent Translator Location: Remote Content Type: Biology Expected Weighted Volume Per Week: 2,000 to 5,000 CAT Tool: JIRA, XTM Employment Type: Freelance
• Main Duties Translate patent-related content from English US (en-US) into cs-CZ, et-EE, ro-RO, sr-Cyrl-SP and sl-SI, with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to target audience. The Style adequacy is a key aspect for our client; Follow instructions, for example Translation process, CAT tool usage, etc. Communicate effectively and response promptly in English.
• Requirements Minimum two years' experience translating and reviewing content in the patent field of Biology; Native fluency in target language; Degree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experience.
