Mercier Consultancy Group is actively seeking a driven and experienced Freelance Recruiter to join our expanding network of independent recruitment professionals for this exciting Freelance Recruiter position in Spain. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates through to offer negotiation and placement, in alignment with client requirements within the Recruitment & Staffing industry.
- Proactively source high-calibre candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, and other innovative sourcing strategies.
- Conduct professional candidate interviews and assessments to evaluate suitability, skills, and cultural fit for client vacancies.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with both clients and candidates, ensuring a consistently premium recruitment experience.
- Collaborate with the Mercier Consultancy Group team to align on open vacancies, hiring priorities, and market intelligence across sectors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate pipelines, placement activity, and client interactions within the company's recruitment systems.
- Represent the Mercier Consultancy Group brand with professionalism and integrity in all candidate and client communications.
- Stay informed on trends, talent movements, and developments within the Recruitment & Staffing industry to provide value-added insights to clients and candidates alike.
- Native or fluent English language skills, both spoken and written, are essential for this role.
- Candidate must have experience in recruitment, ideally within the Recruitment & Staffing industry or a related professional services environment.
- Candidate must be able to follow a 1 day on site training in Madrid prior to commencing the role.
- Candidate must be able to invoice, as this is a freelance engagement requiring the candidate to operate as an independent professional.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and clients at all levels.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with digital recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems, and professional networking platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Based in Spain and legally authorized to work as a freelance professional within the country.
