Job Description
Raventra Health is a medical services company providing outsourced billing, coding, and claims processing solutions for provider groups and hospitals. As a Healthcare Compliance Specialist, you will help ensure Raventra’s operations follow applicable healthcare privacy, security, billing, and compliance requirements. You will support internal reviews, monitor compliance practices, investigate potential issues, and help teams maintain appropriate standards when handling healthcare information.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Monitor operational activities for compliance with healthcare policies and established procedures
Support compliance reviews of billing, coding, claims, and documentation processes
Review how protected health information is handled and identify potential compliance risks
Assist with internal audits, compliance assessments, and corrective action plans
Investigate potential compliance issues and document findings and follow-up actions
Maintain compliance policies, procedures, training materials, and related documentation
Track regulatory and policy updates that may affect Raventra’s healthcare operations
Provide guidance to operational teams on HIPAA, PHI handling, privacy, and compliance requirements
Collaborate with management and operational teams to address identified compliance gaps
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
2+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, healthcare administration, revenue cycle management, or a related field
Working knowledge of HIPAA, PHI, healthcare privacy, and compliance principles
Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews, or internal investigations
Strong understanding of confidentiality and appropriate handling of healthcare information
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential compliance risks
Excellent documentation, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to communicate compliance requirements clearly to operational teams
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
HIPAA-compliant private workspace
NICE TO HAVE
CHC, CHPC, or another healthcare compliance certification
Experience with healthcare billing or coding compliance
Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid requirements
Experience with internal audits or compliance monitoring programs
Experience working with provider groups or hospitals
