Job Description
  • This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Insurance Marketing Specialist based in India. The Insurance Marketing Specialist will own the development and management of marketing collateral designed to support independent insurance agents. This role combines insurance knowledge, marketing expertise, content development, and project coordination in a fully remote environment. You will create clear, compelling materials that help agents understand, position, and sell property and casualty insurance products. Working closely with sales, product, legal, underwriting, and other stakeholders, you will ensure every asset is accurate, compliant, current, and on-brand. The role also provides an opportunity to directly influence agent engagement by turning field needs and product updates into effective marketing resources. Success requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and approval workflows. You will collaborate with US-based teams while working from India, with a schedule that combines core US-hours overlap and flexible IST hours.
  • Accountabilities: Create and manage marketing collateral: Coordinate, design, edit, update, and distribute agent-facing materials such as product sheets, presentations, flyers, customer-facing resources, and sales collateral across multiple lines of business. Maintain product accuracy: Keep a strong working knowledge of insurance products and incorporate rate changes, appetite updates, product revisions, and other business changes into relevant materials. Support agent-to-customer selling: Develop resources that help independent agents clearly communicate product value and benefits to homeowners and other customers. Manage reviews and approvals: Coordinate stakeholder feedback and review processes with sales, product, legal, underwriting, and other teams to ensure content remains accurate, compliant, and aligned with brand standards. Own content libraries: Maintain organized marketing repositories, including version control, document updates, and archiving of outdated materials. Partner with sales teams: Act as a marketing point of contact for field sales, identify agent content needs, and translate those needs into practical collateral and targeted campaigns. Strengthen agent engagement: Collect and organize agent testimonials, customer stories, and other proof points that can enhance sales and marketing materials. Coordinate projects and timelines: Manage collateral requests, priorities, deadlines, stakeholder input, and approval requirements across multiple concurrent projects. Support cross-functional execution: Participate in sales, product, and stakeholder meetings, document priorities, track updates, identify content requirements, and communicate project status, risks, and blockers. Contribute to continuous improvement: Help improve collateral processes, content quality, and marketing workflows while supporting a consistent and effective experience for independent agents. Requirements: Professional experience: 3–5 years of marketing experience, with direct exposure to the insurance industry; experience working with or marketing to independent agents is required. Insurance knowledge: Practical understanding of property and casualty insurance products, ideally gained within a carrier, MGA, wholesaler, insurtech, or another organization serving the independent-agent channel. Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Content and communication: Strong written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex insurance and product information into clear, compelling, agent-ready content. Design capabilities: Proficiency with tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop. Compliance awareness: Familiarity with legal review and compliance processes for insurance marketing materials. Marketing technology: Familiarity with Salesforce or marketing automation platforms is a plus, particularly for journey- or trigger-based email content. Organization: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, stakeholder reviews, and revisions simultaneously. Technical proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working with US-based business teams and communicating effectively across functions and time zones. Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Working environment: Ability to work 8 hours per day excluding breaks, including a required 4-hour overlap with core US hours from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST, plus 4 flexible hours in IST. Remote setup: Ability to work from a quiet, suitable workspace with a reliable internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload. Benefits: Annual compensation range of INR 1,068,800–1,496,300, depending on experience, skills, knowledge, market alignment, and location. Medical insurance and accident insurance. Retiral benefits. 12 company-paid holidays plus 2 flexible holidays. Privilege/earned leave and casual/sick leave. Paid maternity and paternity leave. Weekly wellness events and wellness programs. Fully remote working arrangement from India. Flexible working hours around the required US-hours overlap. Opportunities to contribute meaningfully within a global, collaborative environment. An inclusive workplace focused on belonging, empowerment, ownership, and professional growth.
