Job Description
Hamsa is building the operating system for global finance. Through our AI-enabled Unified Ledger, we connect the world's largest financial institutions while solving critical challenges in interoperability, privacy, and speed. With $400B on platform in 2025 and $1T projected for 2026, we're scaling rapidly and reshaping how the world's financial system operates. Backed by top-tier investors, our global team operates across the US, APAC, EU, and LATAM.
We are seeking a hands-on, highly proactive IT Operations Lead to build and own Hamsa's global corporate IT function. As one of the first dedicated IT Operations hires, you will establish the systems, processes, and standards that enable a secure, scalable, and efficient technology environment for a globally distributed workforce.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who enjoys building from the ground up. You will own day-to-day IT operations while designing processes that scale with the company, balancing exceptional employee support with strong security, automation, and operational excellence.
Working closely with Engineering, Security, People Operations, Legal, Risk, and Compliance, you will ensure Hamsa's internal technology environment supports rapid growth while meeting enterprise security and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
IT Operations & End User Services
Own the day-to-day operation of Hamsa's internal IT environment across a globally distributed workforce.
Deliver exceptional IT support for employees and contractors across endpoint devices, collaboration platforms, enterprise applications, identity systems, and network connectivity.
Develop and continuously improve IT service delivery processes, SLAs, knowledge bases, and self-service resources.
Manage hardware procurement, inventory, shipping, lifecycle management, repairs, and secure disposal.
Lead onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes, ensuring timely provisioning and deprovisioning of accounts, devices, and system access.
Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and software license management.
Identity & Access Management
Administer identity platforms including Google Workspace, AWS IAM, SSO, MFA, and other enterprise applications.
Implement least-privilege access models and role-based access controls.
Perform periodic access reviews and support audit evidence collection.
Partner with Security to improve identity governance and privileged access management.
Monitoring & Cloud Operations
Configure and maintain AWS operational monitoring using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, and related services.
Integrate and administer monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, and New Relic.
Develop dashboards, alerts, and operational runbooks.
Perform first-level operational triage and coordinate incident response with Engineering and Security.
Assist Engineering and DevOps with IAM administration, operational tooling, cloud governance, and cost optimization.
Endpoint & Enterprise Technology
Administer endpoint management platforms including MDM solutions, endpoint protection, disk encryption, and device compliance.
Manage enterprise SaaS applications including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, GitHub, and other business systems.
Evaluate, implement, and manage new internal technology platforms.
Improve automation across user provisioning, software deployment, and routine operational tasks.
Security, Compliance & Risk
Partner closely with Security, Compliance, and Legal to maintain secure IT operations aligned with SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and client security requirements.
Ensure corporate IT controls support internal policies and external audit requirements.
Support security awareness initiatives and secure configuration standards.
Participate in incident response, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity exercises.
Own the onboarding and offboarding process: provision/de-provision AWS IAM roles, SaaS accounts, and hardware; coordinate secure retrieval/termination; maintain access checklists, and enforce security requirements.
Work with Security, HR, and Operations to meet compliance, audit and security monitoring requirements, security best practices and regulatory requirements.
Operational Excellence
Build scalable IT processes, documentation, standards, and operating procedures from the ground up.
Identify automation opportunities that improve reliability, efficiency, and user experience.
