Key Responsibilities
- Assist Italian-speaking travellers and tourists with vehicle rental enquiries, bookings, modifications, and cancellations via phone, email, and live chat platforms.
- Provide accurate and tailored information about available vehicle options, rental rates, insurance packages, and tourism-related add-ons to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
- Process reservations and payments efficiently using internal booking and CRM systems, ensuring all data is accurately recorded and maintained.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented manner, reflecting the premium service standards expected in the tourism sector.
- Collaborate with partner tourism agencies, hotels, and travel operators to coordinate seamless vehicle rental solutions for group and individual travellers.
- Upsell and cross-sell relevant travel and tourism services such as GPS navigation, additional driver options, child seats, and travel insurance packages.
- Stay informed about current tourism trends, seasonal travel patterns, and destination-specific requirements to better serve Italian-speaking clients.
- Meet and consistently exceed individual and team performance targets, contributing to a positive, high-energy team environment.
- Native or fluent Italian language skills (spoken and written) are essential for this role — a strong command of Italian is mandatory.
- Valid EU passport (mandatory requirement for relocation and employment eligibility).
- Previous experience in customer service, tourism, hospitality, travel, or a related field is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences within the tourism industry.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with the ability to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English at a communicative level for internal team communication and training purposes.
