Job Title: Manager, Corporate Strategy & Planning

Location: London, United Kindgom - Hybrid (50% working at the office)

Employment Type: Full-time permanent 

 

The job  

The Corporate Strategy & Planning team plays a central role in shaping AVEVA’s long‑term direction and growth. As a Manager, Corporate Strategy & Planning, you will support the development and execution of enterprise strategy and long‑range plans, working closely with senior leaders across the business. This is a hands‑on, analytical role in a lean, collaborative team, offering exposure to executive decision‑making and the opportunity to work at the intersection of industrial software, technology, and strategy. 

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Support enterprise strategy and long‑range planning through structured analysis, scenario evaluation, and executive‑ready materials

  • Conduct financial, quantitative, and qualitative analyses to assess performance, portfolio choices, and strategic trade‑offs

  • Analyze market, competitive, and industry trends across industrial software, engineering workflows, and asset‑centric operations

  • Partner with Product, R&D, Sales, Finance, and GTM teams to inform strategic direction across the Design–Build–Operate–Optimize lifecycle

  • Contribute to selective strategic initiatives, including growth priorities, portfolio reviews, and transformation efforts

 

Essential requirements 

  • 5–7 years of experience in strategy, corporate planning, consulting, or technical roles with strong analytical components

  • Background or strong exposure to engineering, industrial software, industrial automation, or related technical domains

  • Strong hands‑on analytical capability, including financial modeling and structured problem solving

  • Ability to synthesize complex technical and commercial inputs into clear, actionable insights

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field

 

Desired skills 

  • Intellectual curiosity and learning agility to quickly understand industrial domains, products, and customer workflows (Curiosity, Aspiration)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders (Trust)

  • Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on practical impact and decision support (Impact)
