This role offers the opportunity to support the operational management of private equity funds within a fast-paced investment environment. You will play a key role in improving fund processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, and supporting critical financial operations. The position combines financial analysis, fund modeling, transaction support, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with investment teams, finance professionals, legal partners, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient fund operations. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex priorities. - Accountabilities: The Manager, Fund Operations will support the ongoing management and optimization of private equity fund operations by developing processes, preparing financial analysis, coordinating transactions, and ensuring compliance with fund requirements. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Prepare key fund performance metrics, reporting materials, and detailed data analyses for recurring reviews and ad hoc requests. Support fundraising activities by providing fund management insights, operational information, and coordination with investor-facing teams. Manage credit facility operations and support compliance with credit agreements and related requirements. Prepare responses to investor inquiries and support ongoing communication with limited partners. Assist with fund profitability models, budgeting processes, and carried interest projections. Build financial models to analyze portfolio performance, scenario planning, and return optimization opportunities. Support investment teams with transaction execution, including acquisitions, follow-on investments, distributions, dispositions, and portfolio reviews. Collect and review transaction documentation, including investment approvals, allocation details, purchase agreements, and funding materials. Partner with accounting teams to ensure transactions are accurately reflected in financial statements. Provide required information for capital calls, distributions, and other fund accounting activities. Monitor compliance with partnership agreements, investor side letters, and applicable regulatory requirements. Develop and improve operational processes, reporting standards, and fund management practices. Requirements: The ideal candidate brings strong financial expertise, analytical capabilities, and experience supporting investment operations within an asset management environment. You should be comfortable working with complex financial data, collaborating across teams, and delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. 5–7 years of professional experience in an analytical, finance, or operations role within the asset management industry. Strong understanding of finance, financial analysis, and investment modeling. Demonstrated experience building and reviewing financial models and quantitative analyses. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capabilities. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders. High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field preferred. Advanced degrees or professional certifications such as MBA, CFA, ACA, or equivalent are strongly preferred. Benefits: Competitive base salary range of approximately $162,000–$180,000 annually, depending on experience, expertise, and qualifications.
