- This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Merchandiser Imaging Product in Canada. This role offers an exciting opportunity to act as a key brand ambassador for a leading imaging product line within the photography and consumer electronics space. You will be responsible for driving product visibility, strengthening retail partnerships, and supporting sales growth across assigned territories. The position combines field-based retail engagement, training, and marketing support with analytical reporting and market intelligence gathering. You will collaborate closely with retail partners, internal product teams, and marketing stakeholders to ensure strong brand representation and customer understanding. This is a highly dynamic role where technical product expertise, communication skills, and relationship-building are essential. It also provides the opportunity to engage with events, influencers, and consumer insights to shape future product strategies.
- Accountabilities: You will be responsible for representing the imaging product line in retail environments, supporting sales growth, and ensuring strong brand presence through training, engagement, and market insights. Act as a brand ambassador and product expert for the imaging product line, including features, specifications, and benefits Maintain regular retail visits and ensure strong product visibility across assigned territory Build and maintain strong relationships with retail managers and sales teams Support efforts to increase product sales through proactive engagement with retail partners Train retail staff to ensure proper understanding and representation of products and brand messaging Gather and communicate consumer insights and market feedback to influence product development Identify and collaborate with influencers to support product promotion and brand awareness Plan and participate in retail activations, customer events, and trade shows Collect and report competitive intelligence, market trends, and merchandising activities Test and evaluate new product models and provide structured feedback Prepare regular reports on activities, market conditions, and customer feedback Requirements: This role requires strong photography or videography knowledge combined with retail experience, communication skills, and the ability to manage field-based responsibilities independently. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in photography or videography with strong understanding of camera hardware and software 2–3 years of retail sales experience is an asset Strong knowledge of imaging technology and consumer camera products Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Canada as required Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal (English required) Ability to train, engage, and influence retail staff and end consumers Strong organizational skills with ability to manage field visits and reporting duties Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams Knowledge of the Lumix product line is considered an asset Benefits: Competitive hourly wage ranging from $30 to $45 CAD, based on experience Part-time contract role (up to 21 hours per week) Remote work arrangement with field-based retail travel Opportunity to represent a global consumer electronics brand Exposure to retail marketing, product training, and consumer engagement activities Professional experience in photography and imaging technology industry Opportunity to collaborate with marketing, product, and retail teams Participation in events, trade shows, and influencer initiatives Flexible schedule within a part-time contract structure
