About the role.
As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for a Mid-level Android Engineer to join our Engineering team! You'll be working as part of a fully cross-functional squad, focused on delivering top quality features for our Android application, and communicating and engaging with stakeholders within the team across Product and Design in particular.
Responsibilities include
- Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of new features for our Android application.
- Maintain and enhance the existing codebase, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional squad, participating fully in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and refinements.
- Work within a quarterly OKR cycle aligned to the company’s yearly strategy, adapting focus as priorities evolve.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build high-quality, user-focused solutions.
A little bit about you.
We’d really like to hear from you, if you have
- A positive, collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in Jetpack Compose and solid experience with Jetpack Navigation (deep links, multiple graphs).
- Strong understanding of Clean Architecture and MVVM, with practical experience applying both.
- Proficiency in Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and core Jetpack libraries (ViewModel, StateFlow, DataStore), plus experience with Hilt for dependency injection.
- Solid experience in unit testing (MockK) and comfortable working with Gradle and version catalogs.
- We want someone who has a passion for what they do, and the confidence to voice their opinion on what works and what doesn't when they have the opportunity!
