This role provides centralized leadership and coordination for Mobile Training Team activities supporting Counter-sUAS training operations and a Joint C-UAS University. The position plays a critical role in ensuring training events are properly staffed, equipped, and aligned with operational priorities. You will work closely with instructors, training leadership, curriculum specialists, and operational stakeholders. The role combines strategic coordination with hands-on management of complex, concurrent training requirements. Your work will directly contribute to operator readiness, mission effectiveness, and the successful delivery of standardized C-sUAS instruction. • Accountabilities: Lead the MTT Synchronization Cell and oversee scheduling, coordination, and deconfliction of all C-sUAS Mobile Training Team activities. Synchronize instructor assignments, travel, equipment, facilities, and training locations across multiple Department of War sites. Maintain the master training calendar and proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts while maximizing operator readiness and operational uptime. Coordinate closely with JCU cadre, MTT instructors, NCR trainers, curriculum integration specialists, and training operations coordinators. Track instructor availability, readiness, and surge capacity, including an additional pool of 15 surge instructors. Prepare status reports, leadership briefings, recommendations, and other decision-support materials for program leadership and JIATF-401 stakeholders. Ensure training execution remains aligned with JCU doctrine and key lines of effort, including Domestic Shield, curriculum and instruction, onboarding, BDOC, and Joint Force integration. Serve as the primary point of contact for MTT synchronization challenges and coordinate timely resolution across stakeholders. Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of Department of War training management experience, including at least 3 years at the joint or combatant command level. Demonstrated experience managing multi-site, concurrent training operations and complex scheduling requirements. Previous leadership experience within a training cell, operations center, coordination function, or comparable environment. Active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience managing Mobile Training Teams or other distributed training enterprises is highly desirable. Proficiency with scheduling tools, Microsoft Office, and collaborative workplace platforms. Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment while balancing competing operational priorities. Benefits: Competitive compensation. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage beginning on day one, with a 50% employer contribution toward health insurance. Short- and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and Workers’ Compensation coverage. Traditional and Roth 401(k) options with a 4% employer match and immediate vesting. 160 hours of paid time off (PTO). 11 paid federal holidays. Remote work environment. Opportunity to contribute to meaningful missions supporting national security and advanced defense capabilities.
