Job Description
We are looking for a reliable, highly organized Patient Care Coordination and Administrative Support to join a growing U.S. healthcare practice.
This is a versatile, dual-focus role. You will manage daily patient care workflows and prior authorizations while also serving as a trusted assistant to the practice owner for executive and operational tasks. If you have solid experience in U.S. healthcare administration, exceptional English communication skills, and take real ownership of your work, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Coordinating meetings and luncheons with pharmaceutical representatives.
- Assisting with payroll-related administrative tasks.
- Following up with the IRS regarding quarterly tax amounts when needed.
- Coordinating calls with vendors and other businesses that support practice operations.
A particularly important part of this role is working closely with our billing team. Responsibilities include:
- Attending biweekly billing meetings to review patient reports and denied claims.
- Clearly communicating billing concerns, outstanding issues, and necessary follow-up to me.
- Maintaining ongoing contact with the billing team regarding inactive or lapsed insurance, coverage limitations, and benefit-related concerns.
- Coordinating follow-through so that insurance and billing issues are addressed promptly.
U.S. Healthcare Experience: Proven experience working in a U.S. medical practice or clinical administrative setting.
Insurance & Prior Auth Knowledge: Hands-on experience submitting and tracking prior authorizations and speaking with insurance providers.
Executive Assistant Skillset: Ability to handle high-level administrative tasks, manage schedules, and support business operations.
Strong Communication: Excellent spoken and written English, with a polished and professional phone manner.
Key Traits: Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Working Hours: Full-time availability for Monday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST and Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.
Remote Workspace: High-speed internet connection, power/internet backup, and a quiet home office setup.
