Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Privacy Counsel to guide Tripledot Studios through a remarkable period of growth. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape the privacy and data protection practice of the in-house legal team, while also offering a platform for personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build, implement and maintain Tripledot Studios’ global privacy and data protection program, policies and procedures.
- Monitor and advise on privacy and data protection risks and requirements across digital markets and platforms affecting the mobile gaming sector.
- Conduct data protection impact assessments and privacy reviews, embedding privacy-by-design into new products and features.
- Collaborate closely with product, marketing and engineering teams to review Tripledot Studios’ products and features, ensuring compliance while identifying and mitigating privacy risks.
- Manage data subject requests and oversee the company’s response to personal data breaches and incidents.
- Negotiate data processing agreements and manage privacy obligations with vendors, partners and platform providers.
- Manage Tripledot Studios’ strategic response to inquiries and investigations initiated by data protection authorities worldwide.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- EU/UK/US qualified lawyer with minimum of 7+ years of applicable experience.
- In addition to privacy expertise, strong generalist capabilities.
- A combination of law firm and in-house role exposure viewed favorably.
- Demonstrable experience working with consumer-facing technology monetized with adds and in-app purchases – video game industry experience is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of global privacy and data protection laws, including the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and other emerging US state privacy laws.
- Experience advising on data protection issues affecting mobile apps, including consent management, children’s privacy (e.g. COPPA and age-appropriate design), advertising and analytics technologies, and cross-border data transfers.
- Experience conducting data protection impact assessments, managing data subject requests, and negotiating data processing agreements with vendors and partners.
- Experience handling regulatory inquiries and enforcement actions brought by data protection authorities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to lead complicated projects and advise across multiple jurisdictions.
