Job Description

Position Summary

The Procurement Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the procurement of goods and services that enable internal business operations across the organization. This role partners with internal stakeholders to source products and services, manage vendor relationships, negotiate commercial terms, and help ensure timely delivery while balancing cost, quality, and business needs.

The ideal candidate has experience purchasing technology-related products, software, professional services, and operational resources and enjoys collaborating across teams to deliver efficient procurement solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

  • Manage sourcing and purchasing activities for internal business functions.
  • Partner with the RFx (RFI, RFP, RFQ) team to support supplier evaluations and commercial negotiations.
  • Execute sourcing activities that align with business requirements, budgets, and procurement guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve value, reduce costs, and support operational efficiency.
  • Assist with spend analysis and provide recommendations for purchasing efficiencies.
  • Partner closely with Accounting and Legal to coordinate contract renewals and ensure Accounting is aware of multi-year agreements.

Supplier & Contract Management

  • Build and maintain effective vendor relationships.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract renewals, service agreements, and standard commercial terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Maintain procurement documentation and contract records.
  • Set up vendors and issue purchase orders within NetSuite.
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure purchases are coded to the appropriate departments.

Procurement Operations

  • Follow established procurement policies, approval workflows, and financial controls.
  • Partner with Legal, Security, Privacy, Finance, and business stakeholders throughout vendor onboarding.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and operational efficiency.
  • Track procurement metrics and prepare routine spend reporting.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or vendor management experience.
  • Experience supporting corporate functions within a technology, SaaS, software, or similar environment preferred.
  • Experience purchasing software, technology services, professional services, and indirect spend categories.

Technical Knowledge

  • Experience using procurement or ERP systems (NetSuite or similar).
  • Working knowledge of contract structures, software licensing, procurement processes, and vendor lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency with Excel and basic spend analysis.

The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $110,000 + bonus + benefits
