About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organized Product Development & Procurement Specialist to support the development and launch of new products and product variations.
This person will coordinate product development from concept through delivery, working closely with suppliers and manufacturers while keeping track of product details, testing, inventory, timelines, and logistics.
You don't need a nutrition or product development background. What matters most is being organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to stay on top of multiple moving pieces.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the development of new products, flavors, shapes, and special editions.
- Communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, and flavor labs throughout the development process.
- Coordinate product samples and help organize testing and feedback.
- Track product development timelines and make sure deliverables stay on schedule.
- Support procurement and ensure products and materials are ordered and delivered as needed.
- Coordinate the movement of products from manufacturers and suppliers to the warehouse.
- Maintain clear records of product specifications, samples, inventory, suppliers, and timelines.
- Help evaluate product options and communicate feedback on flavors, designs, and product characteristics.
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders involved in product development without necessarily managing them directly.
- Identify issues or delays early and coordinate with the relevant people to resolve them.
- Support the launch of seasonal products, special editions, and new product lines.
- Help keep product development organized as the company continues to expand its product portfolio.
- Experience in product coordination, procurement, operations, project coordination, supply chain, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple suppliers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to keep track of deadlines and moving parts.
- Comfortable communicating with external suppliers and partners.
- Practical, hands-on approach to getting things done.
- Ability to identify problems and proactively follow up until they are resolved.
- Comfortable working with product details and evaluating different options.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable learning new tools and systems quickly.
- Able to work independently in a fast-growing, remote environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with consumer products, e-commerce, CPG, food, beverage, supplements, or similar industries.
- Experience with procurement, inventory, suppliers, or manufacturing coordination.
- Experience coordinating product launches or special editions.
Important
A specific nutrition, food science, or product development degree is not required. The company already has established systems and suppliers; the priority is finding someone who can stay organized, coordinate the moving pieces, and take ownership of getting products developed and delivered.
