You will oversee the development of data collection systems, reporting frameworks, and analytical tools that support program evaluation and decision-making. In addition to driving insights through data, you will supervise and mentor a team of analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and consistent performance. The position requires strong technical depth in data science alongside the ability to manage stakeholders, processes, and reporting cycles. You will contribute to building scalable analytics solutions, including dashboards, models, and automated reporting systems. Operating in a sensitive and regulated environment, you will help ensure data integrity, compliance, and actionable insights for leadership. This is a highly visible role where analytical rigor and people leadership directly influence program outcomes.
  • Accountabilities Lead and supervise a team of data analysts responsible for program reporting, data collection, and analytical deliverables supporting a large-scale government initiative. Oversee team performance, onboarding, training, and professional development while ensuring adherence to program standards and timelines. Review, validate, and approve analytical outputs, dashboards, reports, and data-driven presentations delivered to stakeholders and leadership. Develop and enhance data collection tools, workflows, and reporting systems to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reliability. Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau to support decision-making and performance monitoring. Conduct advanced data analysis using SQL, Python, R, and Excel to identify trends, insights, and program outcomes. Collaborate with federal stakeholders to define metrics, improve processes, and support continuous program evaluation and improvement. Requirements 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or related quantitative fields, including leadership experience managing data-driven projects or teams. Bachelor’s degree in data science, analytics, statistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Strong expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data interpretation using large and complex datasets. Proficiency with SQL, Python and/or R, and advanced Excel (including VBA). Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Experience working with sensitive data (PII) and ensuring strong data governance and compliance practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring, training, and supervising analytical teams in structured environments.
