Project Estimator/ Receptionist

Job Description

• Our client is an established and growing specialist within the tiling industry and is looking for a Project Estimator/ Receptionist to join their team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in the tiling industry who is looking for a varied role with the opportunity to develop their responsibilities over time. Initially, the role will focus on providing a professional first point of contact by answering incoming telephone calls and supporting the day-to-day administration of the business. As you become familiar with the company and its processes, your responsibilities will expand into preparing project estimates and entering quotations into the company's CRM system. Key Responsibilities: ● Answer and manage incoming telephone calls professionally and efficiently. ● Provide excellent customer service to clients and suppliers. ● Input project estimates and quotations into the CRM system (JobThread). ● Support the team with administrative tasks as required. ● Ensure customer information and project details are accurately maintained. ● Assist with general office coordination and communication.
• The Ideal Candidate Will Have: ● Previous experience within the tiling industry (essential). ● Experience in sales will be an advantage. ● A good visual understanding of tile layouts, spacing, and project measurements. ● Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. ● Confident IT skills and the ability to learn new systems. ● Experience using JobThread CRM would be advantageous, although training can be provided. ● An interest in or experience using AI tools to improve efficiency would be highly desirable. ● Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner. ● A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks. • $600 - $800 a month Hours: 20 hours per week (with opportunity to increase over time) Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
