Job Description
Position Summary: The SAP ABAP Developer I supports enterprise SAP application development by performing system analysis, technical design, coding, and testing activities. This role works closely with SAP Functional Consultants and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective SAP ECC solutions.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Perform business and system analysis to support enterprise SAP application development
- Translate business requirements and customer information into detailed technical designs
- Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants and client team members to evaluate solution alternatives and recommend technical approaches
- Develop, modify, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs within SAP ECC environments
- Create and maintain programming specifications, technical documentation, diagrams, and logic flowcharts
- Support enterprise application enhancements, modifications, and new installations
- Travel up to 20 percent to support project activities, on-site meetings, and stakeholder engagements as required
- Follow established development standards, coding best practices, and quality assurance processes
Education, Training, and Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of ABAP development experience
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in MIS, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or other technical field preferred
- SAP Certification in ABAP or FIORI; if not certified, must obtain certification within 6 months of hire
- Must have RAP (Restful Application Programming) ABAP know-how and skills for development in S/4 HANA.
- Experience working with the Department of Defense or another federal agency is a plus
- U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain government clearance
- Experience with enterprise application development, including design, coding, and testing
Compensation:
In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $75,000 – $100,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This posted range reflects our good faith estimate of the compensation we reasonably expect to offer for this role at the time of posting.
