  • This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Clinical Project Manager in Canada. In this role, you will lead the successful execution of complex clinical research projects across regional and global studies within a fast-paced CRO environment. You will oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality standards, and regulatory requirements are consistently met. Acting as the key interface between internal cross-functional teams and external sponsors, you will drive planning, execution, and performance tracking across all study phases. You will also play a critical role in risk management, resource allocation, and issue resolution to ensure smooth project progression. This position requires strong leadership in coordinating scientific, operational, and financial aspects of clinical trials.   • Accountabilities You will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and oversight of clinical trial projects from initiation through close-out, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and internal quality standards. Your role will focus on cross-functional coordination, stakeholder management, and financial and operational control of assigned studies. Lead end-to-end management of Phase I–IV clinical trials, including planning, execution, monitoring, and study close-out Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements in collaboration with functional leaders Track project progress using established tools, ensuring accurate reporting of milestones, risks, and deliverables Coordinate cross-functional teams across clinical operations, data management, statistics, regulatory, and vendor management Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors, managing communication, expectations, and issue resolution Monitor financial performance, identify out-of-scope activities, and manage change orders and budget adjustments Lead project status meetings, ensuring risks, delays, and mitigation strategies are clearly identified and addressed Ensure compliance with ICH guidelines and regulatory standards including FDA, Health Canada, and EMA requirements Requirements You bring extensive experience in clinical research and project management, with a strong ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder clinical programs in a regulated environment. You combine scientific understanding with strong operational, financial, and communication skills. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related health/scientific field 10+ years of experience in clinical research, ideally within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment At least 7 years of experience in clinical project management roles overseeing complex studies Strong understanding of clinical trial processes across all phases, including regulatory submissions and study start-up Solid knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory frameworks (FDA, Health Canada, EMA) Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and external stakeholders Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and change order management Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Oncology experience is considered a strong asset Benefits Competitive salary range ($125,000 – $175,000 CAD) plus performance-based bonus Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage Life, AD&D, and disability insurance (short- and long-term) Retirement savings plan (401k or equivalent) Tuition reimbursement and professional development support Fitness reimbursement and employee assistance program (EAP) Generous paid time off and sick leave Remote work flexibility within Canada Inclusive and supportive work environment focused on growth and collaboration
