About the role:

We are looking for a highly technical and strategic Senior HubSpot Developer to take ownership of our marketing automation ecosystem. The primary focus of this role is to manage and optimize the bi-directional integration between Salesforce and HubSpot (Marketing Hub). You will lead technical efforts to ensure seamless data flow, segmenting audiences, and executing high-volume, personalized email communications that drive engagement, lead nurturing, and revenue.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Salesforce-HubSpot Integration Ownership: Architect, implement, and maintain the bi-directional sync between Salesforce and HubSpot, ensuring data consistency (contacts, leads, accounts, opportunities) and resolving sync conflicts
  • Email Marketing & Automation: Develop and execute complex automated email nurturing journeys, triggered email campaigns, and audience segmentation based on Salesforce data points
  • Custom Development & Technical Solutions: Utilize HubSpot APIs, custom objects, and HubL (HubSpot Markup Language) to create advanced, tailor-made solutions that extend platform functionality
  • Data Structure & Hygiene: Maintain high standards of data quality by managing object mapping, validation rules, and deduplication processes between CRM and MAP
  • Email Coding & Templating: Build responsive email templates and landing pages using HTML, CSS, and HubL, ensuring cross-client compatibility and personalization
  • Strategic Optimization: Analyze campaign performance metrics (email open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) and provide actionable technical insights to improve ROI
  • Troubleshooting: Act as the subject matter expert to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical errors with API connectors, workflows, or data syncs

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years in a technical HubSpot development role with specialized experience in marketing automation
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Sales/ Service Cloud, and experience mapping data to HubSpot
  • Deep knowledge of HubSpot Marketing Hub, CRM, CMS, workflows, and API integrations
  • Expertise in HubL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and working with REST/SOAP APIs
  • Proven experience building advanced workflows, lead scoring models, and segmentation strategies
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities and expound technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
