Job Description
As a Senior IT Systems Developer (AI) at Iterable, you will help us build the connective tissue between AI platforms and the business systems our teams depend on every day. Reporting to the Senior Director of IT, you will design and build integrations that help teams across the company use AI tools safely and effectively—connecting them to systems like Salesforce, Snowflake, and ADP.
This role is equal parts builder and operator. You'll lead on AI integration work while growing your skills in infrastructure engineering, partnering with Enterprise Security to help shape how we approach AI-assisted development. One of our core values is a growth mindset and Iterable is a company where everyone can grow. If this is a role that excites you, please do apply as we value applicants for the skills they bring beyond a job description.
Responsibilities
- Integration & Automation: Design and build integrations between AI platforms and corporate business systems, including API development and workflow automation.
- AI Operationalization: Evaluate and operationalize AI tools as the company's needs evolve—starting with Gemini Enterprise.
- Cloud Resource Management: Manage the GCP resources that support our AI environment—APIs, billing, project configuration, and access controls.
- Security Partnership: Partner with Enterprise Security to support the "vibe coding" approval process, helping teams build AI-assisted applications securely.
- Infrastructure Support: Support IT infrastructure operations including certificate management, DNS administration, and Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code practices.
Qualifications
- System Integration: Proven experience building integrations, automations, or tools that connect disparate systems.
- API & Cloud Proficiency: Professional experience working with APIs, scripting, and cloud platforms.
- AI Implementation: Experience as an AI practitioner, moving beyond prompting into building with AI tools.
- Technical Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Operational Mindset: Demonstrated ability to manage both creative development and steady-state operational tasks.
Additional (Preferred)
- Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Experience with enterprise integrations involving Salesforce, Snowflake, or HRIS systems.
- Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or AI agent frameworks.
