Job Description
HawkEye 360 is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join the Solutions team. The Solutions team is responsible for developing and executing a high-impact technical solution for a major program within the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. The role includes actively engaging with the client and end users to understand their needs, providing hands on training to end users on how to use the data and integrate into their workflows, leading integration efforts with 3rd party tools and services, and working with internal HE360 teams (engineering/product/solutions) to better align our offerings to customer needs. This position requires a high level of initiative, ability to learn new technologies quickly, and excellent customer service and communication skills.
Location & Travel: Our offices are based in Herndon, Virginia. This particular role requires the individual to live in Japan as a geographically remote employee of HawkEye 360.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Serve as the technical point of contact for HawkEye360 in Japan.
- Work cross functionally with the General Manager, Account Executives, and Program Management teams to meet customer requirements and drive business.
- Own the solution, quickly and effectively run point on any technical issues that arise, and pivot where necessary to increase mission value.
- Embed with customer for up to several weeks at a time to deeply understand their mission needs, provide training and guidance on best utilization of HE360 products and capabilities, and collaboratively explore use cases with the end users.
- Design and implement technical integrations of data to include data flow from AWS services to on-premises storage and integration of HE360 data into multiple 3rd party platforms.
- Champion end user requirements internally to HE360 stakeholders to include systems engineering and product teams.
- Continue to learn and drive rapid innovations to support business growth.
- Reinforce by example the company’s commitment to its values.
Your skills and qualifications:
Essential education and experience:
- 8+ years’ experience executing technical solutions in the RF and/or GEOINT markets.
- BS or MS in computer science, Systems Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in Japanese – both written and spoken.
- Hands on experience with ISR missions, RF collection systems (ground/airborne/space), and/or signals intelligence (SIGINT).
- Track record delivering innovative solutions with Defense & Intelligence clients.
- Experience using GIS platforms and with synthesizing/presenting geospatial data.
- Ability to develop compelling presentations to support customer requirements.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical capabilities to customer problems.
- Strong technical background for designing, developing, and integrating applications.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence others without formal authority.
- Self-motivated; self-starter; accountable for delivering results.
Desirable:
- Understanding of radio frequency (RF) technologies, digital signal processing, signal analysis and applications.
- Technical experience working with radar and/or communication signals such as, but not limited to, Digital Push-To-Talk, SATCOM, and datalink signal-level analysis.
- Hands-on experience with technical integration – use of AWS, APIs, open source technologies, etc.
