You will be responsible for maintaining and improving complex cloud-based infrastructure while driving automation, incident response, and system optimization at scale. Working within a highly collaborative engineering environment, you will partner closely with software engineers to enhance system design, deployment practices, and operational resilience. The role blends hands-on engineering, production support, and strategic reliability improvements. You will also contribute to observability, capacity planning, and security best practices across distributed systems.   • Accountabilities In this role, you will ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical systems while continuously improving reliability engineering practices across cloud-native environments. Provide on-call production support and resolve incidents in alignment with SLA and operational priorities. Monitor system health, performance, and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Design, build, and maintain automation scripts and tools to reduce manual operational effort. Perform root cause analysis of incidents and implement long-term corrective actions. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system architecture, deployment pipelines, and reliability standards. Contribute to capacity planning, infrastructure scaling, and system performance optimization. Maintain documentation for operational processes, incident resolution, and system architecture. Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and infrastructure best practices. Requirements This role requires strong hands-on experience in production systems, cloud environments, and reliability engineering practices, combined with strong problem-solving and communication skills. 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or system administration roles supporting large-scale systems. Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Bash, Ruby, Go, Java, or C++. Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, Splunk). Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar). Strong incident management skills, including troubleshooting, RCA, and preventive fixes. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering and product teams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
