Job Description
  • This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Solutions Advisory (Microsoft) in the United States. This role sits at the intersection of security advisory, identity architecture, and pre-sales consulting, supporting enterprise clients in assessing and strengthening their Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Microsoft security environments. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping organizations understand their current-state identity and security posture and defining clear, actionable modernization roadmaps. The role combines technical depth with client-facing consulting, requiring the ability to translate complex IAM and Microsoft security concepts into clear business value. You will collaborate closely with sales, delivery, and engineering teams to shape solution strategies that align with both customer needs and implementation realities. The environment is fast-paced and consultative, with strong exposure to enterprise and regulated industries. Your insights will directly influence solution design, pre-sales success, and long-term client security transformations. This is a highly visible role where advisory expertise and communication skills are equally critical.
  • Accountabilities: Lead and support IAM and security advisory engagements, including current-state assessments, gap analysis, and solution recommendations for enterprise clients. Conduct in-depth evaluations of Active Directory, PKI, and Microsoft 365 security environments to identify risks and improvement opportunities. Translate technical assessment findings into clear, actionable remediation plans, security roadmaps, and architectural recommendations. Partner with sales and delivery teams to shape solution strategies and support pre-sales activities with technical expertise. Develop client-facing deliverables such as reports, presentations, and strategic roadmaps that communicate findings and recommendations effectively. Act as a subject matter expert during client discussions, helping position identity and security solutions aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with internal engineering and implementation teams to ensure advisory outputs align with delivery capabilities and managed services. Support the continuous improvement of advisory frameworks, methodologies, and best practices across IAM and Microsoft security domains. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in IAM, cybersecurity advisory, solution consulting, or security architecture roles. Strong expertise in Active Directory, PKI/certificate-based security, and Microsoft 365 security controls and configurations. Proven experience conducting enterprise security assessments and translating findings into strategic, actionable recommendations. Strong understanding of identity and access management principles, including authentication, authorization, and privileged access concepts. Experience in client-facing, pre-sales, or advisory roles with the ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly. Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders. Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, engineering, and delivery teams in fast-paced consulting environments. Familiarity with broader IAM domains such as identity governance, access management, or hybrid identity architectures is a plus. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and structured communication. Benefits: Competitive compensation aligned with experience and expertise. Remote work flexibility within the United States. Exposure to enterprise-scale IAM and Microsoft security transformation programs. Opportunity to work in a high-impact advisory role influencing pre-sales and solution design. Collaborative, consulting-driven environment with strong cross-functional engagement. Continuous learning opportunities in IAM, cybersecurity, and Microsoft security ecosystems. Career growth potential within enterprise security advisory and solution architecture tracks. Standard benefits package including healthcare, PTO, and other employer-provided benefits (eligibility dependent).
