- Design and Develop: Engineer mobile mechanical systems for oil and gas applications—hydraulic equipment, mobile lifting systems, and field-service machinery.
- Optimize Performance: Enhance reliability and efficiency for high-pressure, high-load, and high-cycle environments.
- Model and Draw: Create detailed CAD models and drawings using Inventor (preferred), AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
- Prototype and Validate: Test and refine equipment to meet API, ASME, and internal quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and Improve: Diagnose field issues, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement in system performance.
- Collaborate and Lead: Work cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and field teams to deliver robust, field-ready solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical design for oil & gas or heavy industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, power units, and mechanical assemblies.
- Proven ability to manage projects from concept through deployment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
