Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Staff Accountant will support the Assistant Controller by ensuring the integrity and validity of financial data entered: Including JEs, Invoices, Payments. The Staff Accountant will have opportunities to develop skills in many different areas, including financial reporting, M&A integration, cash and expense management, and international operations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Statement Monthly/Quarterly Closing
- Prepare assigned account reconciliations and related analysis on a monthly/quarterly basis to identify potential discrepancies in account balances
- Participate in quarterly review procedures and annual audit, providing information and answers to auditor requests and inquiries
- Review and approve refund requests through Jira
- Monitor compliance with GAAP and company procedures and proactively communicate identified accounting/financial and control issues to Management
- Provide financial support to all users as required
- Review and approve weekly pricing into oracle and the reconciliation between Oracle and Power BI
- Other projects as required
- Prepare month end journal entries and related support
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3-5 years of general ledger accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit
- Thoroughness and attention to details
- Strong analytical skills Preferred
- Experience with Oracle
- General ledger and month-end close experience
- Experience working in a global company
