  • The Strategic Sourcing Manager is a pivotal role within the EMEA Data Center Service Procurement (DCSP) organization, responsible for devising and executing long-term procurement strategies that drive business value and competitive advantage. This role focuses on forming and nurturing strategic supplier relationships, managing compliance, and identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement within the supply chain. We are currently seeking a sourcing and procurement professional to join our Data Centre Services Procurement group, specifically the EMEA Supplier Sourcing and Management Team. This role will focus on working with customers, identifying and onboarding construction services, substation long lead equipment, colocation services and real estate vendors and across all EMEA regions where required to add additional capacity to meet demand. You will be charged with creating category sourcing plans across region in EMEA, existing category management and reviews and then quickly delivering results that enable internal teams to meet tight schedules. Driving a focus in construction supplier sourcing of quality, innovative Sustainability focused suppliers and on Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance, In this role you will identify new ways to forge partnerships with new suppliers, evaluate new and established suppliers' performance against clearly defined metrics, and balance priorities of, both, Amazon and our suppliers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Key job responsibilities This role leads strategic sourcing and supplier management across EMEA, developing and executing category-level sourcing strategies, evaluating supplier capabilities and financial stability, and managing the supplier selection and handover process to regional category managers. A core focus is business relationship development, transitioning supplier interactions from transactional to collaborative partnerships through joint innovation sessions, executive-level engagement, and supplier development programs that drive mutual value. The role ensures supplier compliance with corporate governance and regulatory standards by implementing compliance frameworks, tracking key metrics, conducting audits, and managing onboarding requirements. Risk management responsibilities include assessing supply chain risks such as insolvency, quality failures, and geopolitical disruptions, while developing contingency plans to maintain supplier capacity. The position requires extensive stakeholder collaboration with internal teams including DCCD, DCE, Energy, Finance, and Legal to align sourcing goals with business needs. Additional responsibilities span contract negotiation — from NDAs to Master Agreements — performance management through KPI development and process improvement, and supplier development and innovation, championing new partnerships and leveraging supplier expertise for competitive advantage in data center delivery. Basic Qualifications
  • - Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Procurement, Logistics, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Analysis, Construction, or other related fields
