Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Web Developer with a strong focus on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem to design, build, and maintain enterprise solutions, based in Athens or remote. Secondary experience with Drupal/PHP is a plus, as you'll occasionally support existing Drupal-based sites. You will work within a cross-functional development team on large-scale digital projects for major international public organizations.
What you'll own
- Build and maintain SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx with React.
- Extend Microsoft Teams with custom tabs, bots, and Teams-integrated apps.
- Develop automation and provisioning scripts for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 using PnP PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
- Design and maintain automated workflows and business processes with Power Automate, and build lightweight apps with Power Apps.
- Work with Azure services underpinning M365 solutions (App Service, Functions, Azure AD/Entra ID, Azure DevOps, Logic Apps).
- Configure and support Microsoft 365 governance, security, and compliance features (Entra ID, Purview, conditional access) where relevant to project needs.
- Provide secondary support for existing Drupal websites and custom PHP modules, including minor theming, Drush-based deployment/migration tasks, and third-party API integrations.
- Write unit tests and maintain code quality using tools such as SonarQube.
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather and clarify requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established development best practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Stay current with emerging Microsoft 365 technologies and, secondarily, the PHP/Drupal ecosystem.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Solid foundation in core web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Working knowledge of a modern JavaScript framework, preferably React.
- Experience with SharePoint Online and the SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate and/or Power Apps.
- Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with RESTful services and APIs, including Microsoft Graph.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English (written and spoken), as projects serve international public organizations.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a team environment.
Desirable:
- Scripting experience with PowerShell / PnP PowerShell.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams app/bot development.
- Exposure to Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Service, Azure AD/Entra ID, and Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with PHP and experience with Drupal (custom module or theme development).
- Experience with Drupal migrations or Composer-based workflows.
- Experience with unit testing and static code analysis (SonarQube).
