Job Description
Your Role
We’re excited to welcome a Workplace Operations intern to join our team in Lincoln, Nebraska.
You'll play a pivotal role in:
- Ensuring smooth processes. You’ll support the execution of events, which will include internal communication, handling travel arrangements, and overseeing the shipping and tracking of swag to our coaches and employees.
- Running office operations. Some of your projects will include incoming/outgoing mail, clinic device management, access/parking cards and larger team meeting setup. In short, you’ll be on the front lines for both employees and guests.
We're currently considering candidates who are willing to work all their hours from our headquarters in Lincoln, NE along side their teammates. Remote work is not an option at this time.
Must-Haves
- A student. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program and remain enrolled for the duration of the internship.
- Organized. You can efficiently manage projects and keep track of multiple tasks and projects at once.
- Process improvement mindset. You’re always on the lookout for opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, take ownership of projects and leave a lasting impact.
- Shipping know-how. You’ll be shipping things—a lot of things. You know what an efficient shipping process looks like and aren’t afraid to make improvements where needed.
- Welcoming. You’re ready to give employees and visitors to our HQ a great first impression because you understand that sets the tone for the rest of their experience at Hudl.
Nice-to-Haves
- Flexible. In addition to daily tasks, you’re able to gracefully handle surprises. When an unusual situation unfolds, you’re excited to jump into action.
- A problem solver. We’ve had customers, fans, candidates and celebrities drop in unannounced. You’re able to get them where they need to go.
- An excellent communicator. Whether it’s giving a tour on behalf of a board member or working with senior leaders around the company, you’re friendly, clear and concise in your communication.
Our Role
- Ask you to make an impact. You're part of the team—that means you'll have real responsibilities. We want to hear what you think and see what you can do.
- Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But even if you’re taking advantage of the opportunity to work remotely, we’ll provide you the tech you need to do your best work.
- Develop your career. On top of working alongside some of the best professionals in the business and gaining real-world experience, we’ll give you extra opportunities like lunch-and-learns and access to curated libraries to round out your internship.
- Support your wellbeing. You’ll have an entire team on your side to give advice and provide answers to your questions, plus more resources like topic-specific Slack channels and employee resource groups. In short, we have you covered.
