Job Description
- Decodo is a web data infrastructure for fast-growing tech teams. It's a mid-market, self-service platform built for speed to value, so teams move from idea to implementation without procurement slowing them down. The culture matches the product: decisions move at the speed of the idea, and people are trusted to test, iterate, and fix what's closest to them. The team waiting for you: The Decodo Scraping Team is responsible for developing and maintaining advanced data extraction products and ensuring smooth technical delivery. As an Engineering Manager, you will add immense value by owning the product from a technical perspective and fostering a healthy, high-performing engineering culture. We are currently scaling our product capabilities and refining our Agile processes, making this the perfect time for a proactive leader to step in. Your leadership will be crucial in balancing ambitious business priorities with technical excellence, ensuring our team has the right skillset and challenges to succeed.
- In this role, you will: Manage the team's delivery according to business priorities, ensuring a smooth Agile flow and proactively removing implementation impediments. Own the product from a technical perspective, collaborating with technical stakeholders to set the right challenges and ensure technical excellence. Lead people management initiatives, including hiring, performance management, and continuous growth and development of team members. Communicate delivery expectations, statuses, and flags to the business, as well as align with external stakeholders and vendors on product development. Support other Decodo functions on product nuances, which includes participating in customer calls and meetings. Apply our leadership principles to guide your team and drive results.
- Your skills & experiences: Proven experience in leadership and delivery management within a technical environment. A solid technical background that enables you to own the product's technical direction and guide engineers effectively. Fluent English with exceptional communication skills, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders, vendors, and your team. A highly proactive, goal-driven mindset with strong accountability, ownership, and out-of-the-box problem-solving skills.
- Nice to Have: Experience in System Architecture. Hands-on development experience. Don't meet everything above? Apply anyway. We're looking for what's next, not what's already been done.
- Tech stack: A strong overall technical background (no specific programming languages required, but a deep understanding of software development lifecycles and architecture is essential).
- Salary & Benefits: Gross salary: from 6500 - 8600 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discuss a different salary based on your skills and competencies. Growth & Learning: 40+ internal learning options, external conferences, mentorship, and year-round knowledge-sharing. Health & Well-being: Private health insurance, psychotherapy, on-site well-being consultants, 24/7 gym access, and a wellness app. Celebration & Community: Team events, an overseas workation, quarterly team-building budgets, and plenty of ways to mark milestones together. Plus bonus vacation days, paid life-moment days off, barista coffee, and all the tools you need. See the full list of benefits here: https://source.ai/career/blog/benefits
