Senior Marine Cargo and Draft Surveyor – Remote

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Marine Cargo and Draft Surveyors to support AI training projects by reviewing cargo imagery, analyzing vessel draft marks, and assessing cargo quantity and condition in accordance with maritime standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review cargo and container condition images and documentation.

• Analyze vessel draft marks and tank gauges to assess cargo quantities.

• Apply relevant marine measurement and surveying standards.

• Provide technical assessments and detailed feedback to improve AI systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in marine cargo and draft surveying.

• Certification from a recognized maritime academy or a valid Certificate of Competency (CoC).

• Membership or accreditation with NAMS, SAMS, or IIMS is preferred.

• Strong analytical skills and expertise in maritime inspection and reporting.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
