Job Description

We are seeking experienced Marine Geology and Sedimentology Specialists to contribute technical expertise to AI training and evaluation projects. The role involves reviewing marine geology content, validating sediment identification, and assessing offshore core logging and sampling procedures. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate marine geology and sedimentology reference answers for technical accuracy.

• Review AI-generated content related to marine lithology, sedimentary structures, grain-size classification, and offshore core sampling.

• Provide detailed feedback on core logging and sediment identification.

• Evaluate marine sediment descriptions and identify soil and rock layers.

• Review and annotate offshore core logging records, visual core descriptions, and case studies.

• Document technical insights, ambiguities, and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• Advanced qualification in Marine Geology, Marine Sedimentology, or a related discipline.

• Extensive hands-on experience in offshore core logging, sediment sampling, and core description.

• Strong expertise in identifying marine sediments, sedimentary structures, and ocean-floor soil and rock layers.

• Experience conducting or supervising offshore sediment surveys or marine core sampling projects.

• Knowledge of offshore sampling practices and visual core description protocols.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience developing or reviewing technical, educational, or scientific training materials is preferred.
