Job Description: Principal / Lead Systems Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Principal or Lead Systems Engineers to support an AI training project focused on complex engineering workflows. You will leverage your technical leadership experience to design realistic multidisciplinary engineering tasks, coordinate expert contributions, and establish clear technical requirements and evaluation criteria to improve AI systems' ability to plan, execute, and validate engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design realistic engineering projects involving mechanical, electrical, hardware, software, and manufacturing disciplines.

2. Translate project objectives into technical requirements, constraints, and measurable acceptance criteria.

3. Break complex projects into structured tasks with defined inputs, deliverables, dependencies, and responsibilities.

4. Coordinate contributions from multidisciplinary engineering experts.

5. Establish technical standards and evaluation criteria for project quality and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

1. Substantial experience as a Principal Systems Engineer, Lead Systems Engineer, or in a similar technical leadership role.

2. Proven experience managing complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects.

3. Strong expertise in requirements engineering, interface management, system integration, and verification and validation.

4. English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Master's degree or PhD in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

2. Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML, or requirements management tools.

3. Experience managing projects from initial requirements through integration, testing, and delivery.

4. Industry experience in aerospace, automotive, robotics, industrial systems, medical devices, or other complex engineering environments.
